Based on the beautiful Isle of Wight, Botanical Vintage is a small, home business which began in 2005 as a vintage stall. Inspired by nature and with a love for all things vintage, I began carefully sourcing and then selling my vintage wares at local and national fairs.

Over the years my personal collection grew considerably, with family and friends often calling upon me to borrow unique vintage items and china for various dinner parties, weddings and events. Having wished to do so for some time, I decided to expand my stock and introduce a prop and crockery hire service to the business.  Although the vintage stall is no more, I do still source and sell a range of selected vintage clothing, gifts and homeware which can be found in our Etsy shop.

I find myself drawn to anything a little different and inspiring. My years of trading in vintage has provided me with a much-needed creative outlet, which I feel is now very much part of who I am.

Coronavirus Appeal National Emergencies Trust

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Botanical Vintage’s event hire items are currently sitting in storage waiting to be wonderfully styled for a fabulous occasion! So, we decided that we would put it all to good use while raising some much-needed funds for a great charity.

During 2020, there will be no set hire fee for many of the items in our inventory. Instead, we are asking for donations to the National Emergencies Trust Coronavirus Appeal via our gofundme page which can be found here:

Times are tough, weddings on the island have been postponed this year and budgets are stretched. So once lockdown measures are lifted so that some weddings and events can take place, we would love to help!

We have a skilled eye for spotting statement vintage pieces and have an amazing collection of 70s peacock chairs, velvet chairs and a huge stunning wicker peacock double love seat. We also have some great creative options for cake tables with a selection of glassware, rugs, candlesticks and other props that add beautiful detail.
